Immigration

We must strengthen and secure our southern border. I believe America is a nation of immigrants. But I also believe in law and order — and that we must take serious action to create a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system.

I will fight to increase the number of Border Patrol personnel, Asylum Officers, and ICE detention beds.
I will support increased funding for additional immigration judges, as well as efforts to combat the trafficking of fentanyl.
I will vote for the bipartisan Senate border security bill, negotiated by one of the most conservative Senate Republicans and endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council.
